Charles has been involved in boating all his life. As a child he lived aboard several yachts from 38' to 112'. His father built a marina at the mouth of the Connecticut River named TERRA MAR, where they spent a great deal of time. The Blickle family moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1960. After a few years, Charles' father started a yacht brokerage company and founded Bradford Marine, where Charles worked as a teenager. In 1980, Charles became a broker at Bradford Yacht Sales and was the President of the company for several years, where his focus was with both new boat sales and brokerage. He was involved with the new boat lines of Ocean Alexander, Alucraft, Posillipo and Vantare. "I enjoy my work as a yacht broker and over the 28 years I have built up a loyal clientele.
