Lon McCloskey is the Co-President of The Marine Group in South Florida. He began his yacht sales career in 1981 with the Gulf Coast Hatteras dealer whereby he ran a small satellite office in New Orleans. Responsibilities included new yacht orders and sales, brokerage sales and yacht service. In 1988, Lon entered into a partnership to form what is now The Marine Group. In 1994 after extensive traveling to South Florida Lon moved to the Palm Beach location of The Marine Group. Lon is active in all aspects of the company's operations including yacht sales and charters, marketing, boat show production and human resources.
